Tuesday 15th July is world youth skills day. A day to celebrate the capabilities of young people around the world!
Test Valley are encouraging young people to register to vote!
"Young people are a vital part of our democracy. It’s important that youth voices are amplified and heard in the decision-making processes which affect their day-to-day lives.
One way in which this can be done is by ensuring they are on the register of electors so that, once they turn 18, they can have their say at the ballot box."
The theme for WYSD 2025 focuses on youth empowerment through AI and digital skills. Use your digital skills to get yourself registered today.
Registering to vote is easy, quick and simple. Go online to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote and complete a few details. It takes less than five minutes and ensures that, when there is an election, you will be able to have a part in choosing who will represent you.
