Support
Over Christmas

Although Youth in Romsey will be closed during the Christmas period, we have gathered a list of support  services who will be open to help young people.

Childline

Chidline is a free, private and confidential service where you can talk about anything. Whatever your worry, whenever you need help, they are there for you online, on the phone, anytime. (under 19yrs)

Samaritans

Free to use crisis service , a unique charity dedicated to reducing feelings of isolation and disconnection that can lead to suicide. ( no age restriction)

Kooth

Online mental wellbeing community with free, safe and anonymous support via live chat, discussion boards and journaling. (10yrs - 18yrs)

Calm Harm App

Provides tasks to help you resist or manage the urge to self-harm. You can make it private by setting a password, and personalise the app if you so wish. You will be able to track your progress and notice change. Please note the app is an aid in treatment but does not replace it.

YoungMinds

Exists so that young people have the strongest possible voice in improving their mental health.

Nhs 111

111 will tell you where you can get help. They may also be able to put you through to a trained mental health professional over the phone.

111 can support anyone who is feeling unsafe, distressed or worried about their mental health. They can also give information and advice about what to do if you're worried about someone else.

If you would rather get help online, you can use 111 online.
